(St. Paul, Mn.)– The Minnesota Department of Health reported 214 new cases in the state this morning bringing the state’s total to 3,816. Nobles County saw in increase of 47 new cases, bringing their total to 399. Nobles County has the second highest total of positive cases in Minnesota. Jackson County is up 1 to 8 positive cases, while Martin County remains at 43 and Cottonwood increased by 3 to 9.
The number of deaths statewide has increased by 28 to 272. Of the deaths, four have been in Martin County and one in Nobles County. Only 9 counties in Minnesota have not reported a positive case.
To date, over 61,000 tests have been completed across the state. Total requiring hospitalization is now at 861, with 292 of those still in the hospital. The number in ICU increased by 7 to 122. 1,842 patients in Minnesota no longer need to be isolated.
