(Sherburn, Mn.)– A collision Saturday involving a car and a semi on Interstate 90 near Sherburn claimed the life of a woman.
The Minnesota State Patrol says it involved a 1996 Mercury Sable driven by 72-year-old Linda Goude of Glenville, Minnesota, and a 2014 Freightliner semi driven by 50-year-old Wilner Pierre of Valrico, Florida. Troopers say both vehicles were eastbound when the collision took place.
Goude died in the crash; Pierre wasn’t hurt.
The Martin County Sheriff’s Office, Sherburn Police Department, Sherburn Fire Department, the Sherburn ambulance and Minnesota Department of Transportation assisted on the scene.
