(Sheldon)– No injuries were reported in a fire early this (Fri.) morning that heavily damaged a house in Sheldon.
Firefighters from Sheldon and Sanborn were called around 1:30 am to 619 3rd Avenue in Sheldon and found flames coming from a rear deck extending up the side of the house to the roof. The fire spread to the ceiling and attic with flames also coming through the roof.
Firefighters used 13,000 gallons of water and 50 gallons of foam to extinguish the blaze.
They were on the scene about four hours.
Officials say the occupants of the home lost all of their belongings in the blaze.
There was no word on a possible cause.
