Minnesota Dept. Of Health Reporting An Additional 243 COVID-19 Cases

(St. Paul)– The Minnesota Department of Health reported 243 new cases in the state this morning bringing the state’s total to 3,185. Nobles County now has the fourth highest total of positive cases in Minnesota. 62 new cases were reported yesterday, bringing their total to 258. Jackson County is now reporting 6 positive cases, while Martin County holds at 41 and Cottonwood remains at 6.

The number of deaths statewide has increased by 21 to 221. Only 9 counties in Minnesota have not reported a positive case.

Almost 54,000 tests have been completed across the state. Total requiring hospitalization is now at 756, with 278 of those still in the hospital. The number in ICU increased by 7 to111. 1,594 patients in Minnesota no longer need to be isolated.
