(Estherville)– A traffic stop earlier this month in Emmet county resulted in the arrest of an Estherville man.
The Emmet County Sheriff’s Office says it happened shortly before 10:00 pm April 16th when a deputy noticed a vehicle traveling through Wallingford at 60 mph in a 35 mph zone in the 2200 block of Highway 4. The deputy pulled over the vehicle and it was determined the driver was in possession of a controlled substance.
34-year-old Joshua Gardner of Estherville was arrested and booked into the Emmet county jail. He was charged with possession of a controlled substance…marijuana…2nd offense, operating while intoxicated…1st offense, and speeding.
