Second Positive Case Of COVID-19 Being Reported In Jackson County

(Jackson, Mn.)– Public health officials today (Saturday) are reporting the second positive case of COVID-19 in Jackson county.

Officials with Des Moines Valley Health and Human Services say the latest case involves a 58-year-old man who had no known contact with another case of the virus. 

The latest case in Jackson county comes nearly a month after the first confirmed case. That person has since recovered. 

Officials say additional cases are expected in the area. They add that it’s even more important now to practice social distancing, sheltering at home, wearing homemade masks, to wash your hands frequently and to stay home if you’re sick.
