Man Arrested For Allegedly Violating No Contact Order While Hiding Under A Bridge

April 14, 2020

(Spencer)– A Spencer man charged with violating a no contact order was arrested Monday while hiding from authorities under the Grand Avenue bridge in Spencer.

The Clay County Sheriff’s Office says authorities received a report that 30-year-old Wesley Lloyd was in a residence in the 600 block of 5th Avenue Southeast in Spencer and that a no contact order was in place banning him from being there.

Authorities say Lloyd fled the scene prior to officers and deputies arriving.

Lloyd was found a short time later under the bridge where he was taken into custody.

He was charged with violation of a no contact order.
