(Arnolds Park)– The Arnolds Park Amusement Park is paying tribute to healthcare workers and others at the front line of the COVID-19 pandemic. Marketing Director Paul Plumb…
“We’ve lit up the arches on the promenade and also have the ferris wheel and the roller coaster lights on for people to see and just kind of a reminder that we appreciate everything kind of our hometown heroes are doing.”
Plumb explains how they came up with the idea…
“One of our staff members, Jean our Sales Manager, I believe is the one who thought of that and we just thought it would be a neat idea. We’ve had a great response to it and people are just really appreciative of us doing that.”
Plumb says they’re looking at some other possible ideas to pay tribute to those on the frontline. He adds they’re looking forward to opening the park once this is all over.
