(Des Moines)– The Iowa Department of Public Health this (Monday) morning announced 88 additional positive cases of COVID-19 in the state, bringing the total number of cases to 424 since the outbreak began. The agency reports a total of 6,162 negative tests to date, which includes testing reported by the State Hygienic Lab and other labs.
In addition, the Iowa Department of Public Health says two more people with the virus died last (Sunday) night. Both were elderly adults. One was from Linn county, the other from Washington county.
Of the new 88 new cases reported this (Monday) morning, none of them are from our area of northwest Iowa.
