(Spencer)– No injuries were reported but authorities say several citations were issued in connection with an incident Thursday of last week in the 4200 mile of County Road M54 near Gillett Grove.
The Clay County Sheriff’s Office says 27-year-old Tohnya Brewer of Marathon was driving a 2014 Dodge behind a 1989 Chevrolet driven by 65-year-old Arlin Bolte of Albert City when some debris fell off a trailer the vehicle was pulling. The vehicle driven by Brewer struck the object, causing about $1,500 in damage.
Bolte was cited for spilling loads on the highway and operation without registration. A passenger in the vehicle driven by Bolte was cited for open container.
