Bomb Threat Results In Evacuation Of Graettinger-Terril Middle/High School

February 19, 2020

(Graettinger)– A bomb threat earlier today (Tues.) resulted in the evacuation of the Graettinger-Terril middle school/high school building in Graettinger.

Superintendent Andrew Woiwood says administrators notified law enforcement after students discovered the written threat in a restroom shortly before noon. The building was then evacuated as a precaution, along with some construction workers who were building an addition onto the school. The students were sent to two nearby churches. A search of the building turned up no explosives, and the “all-clear” was given around 3:00 pm.

Anyone with information into the threat is asked to contact the Palo Alto County Sheriff’s Office.
