(Spirit Lake)– A traffic stop early this (Monday) morning at the intersection of 15th Street and Hill Avenue in Spirit Lake resulted in the arrest of an Okoboji woman.
The Spirit Lake Police Department says it’s K-9 Unit was deployed on the vehicle and indicated on the presence of a controlled substance. A search of the vehicle resulted in officers finding a baggie with methamphetamine in it and some drug paraphernalia.
50-year-old Michele Zeisler was arrested and charged with possession of contraband in a correctional facility, possession of a controlled substance…methamphetamine, possession of drug paraphernalia, use of an electronic communication device while driving, stopping a paved portion of a highway and open container.
Zeisler was booked into the Dickinson county jail on a $1,000 bond.
