(Rock Rapids)– A single vehicle crash earlier this week in Lyon county sent one person to the hospital.
The Lyon County Sheriff’s Office says 25-year-old Teighlor Lonning of Sheldon was driving a 2012 Chevrolet eastbound on a county road when he swerved to avoid a deer, causing him to lose control of the vehicle which went into the ditch.
Lonning was taken to a hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
The vehicle was totaled.
