(Spencer)– A Spencer man has been charged for failing to comply with the state’s sex offender registry law.
The Clay County Sheriff’s Office says an investigation determined 20-year-old Jared Hutchings of Spencer allegedly violated the two-thousand foot rule and allegedly failed to notify authorities of a change in address.
Hutchings was arrested early Thursday afternoon in the 100 block of West Fifth Street in Spencer. He was booked into the Clay county jail on bond of 6,500-dollars.
