SL Traffic Stop Results In Marijuana Arrest

(Spirit Lake)– Another traffic stop…another marijuana bust.

Spirit Lake police say they pulled over a vehicle around 9:30 p.m. Sunday for a routine traffic stop that resulted in the discovery of a green leafy substance believed to be marijuana. The department’s K-9 unit, Zeke, detected the substance in the vehicle.

The driver, 20-year-old James Lambert of Spirit Lake, was charged with possession of a controlled substance, marijuana…a simple misdemeanor. Lambert was booked into the Dickinson county jail.
