Spencer Man Injured In Motorcycle Accident

November 22, 2014

(Spencer)– A Spencer man is recovering from bumps and bruises after crashing his motorcycle Wednesday in Spencer.

Police say the mishap took place just after 6:00 p.m. on South Grand Plaza Drive.

Authorities say Jesse Dammann was northbound on a 2002 Honda motorcycle when he lost control on some loose gravel at the intersection with Hillside Boulevard. The bike hit a curb and went over, sending Dammann to the street.

He suffered bruises and marks to his body from landing on the roadway. Dammann was taken by ambulance to Spencer Hospital.

The bike sustained an estimated four thousand dollars in damage.

No charges were filed.
