14-Year-Old Charged In Osceola County Thefts

November 22, 2014

(Sibley)– Osceola county authorities have filed charges against a juvenile stemming from burglaries that occurred at the El Tio Naco restaurant and a residential garage in April of this year in Sibley.

A 14-year-old male juvenile from Sibley, who’s name hasn’t been released, has been charged with two counts of third degree burglary…each a class “D” felony; one count of theft in the fourth degree and one count of theft in the fifth degree…each simple misdemeanors.

The juvenile is accused of taking cash from the restaurant and a pocket rocket mini-bike from the garage. The mini-bike was later recovered at the juvenile’s residence and returned to its owner.

The charges were filed Tuesday.
