(Spencer)– A Spencer woman faces more legal trouble after authorities say she called her son and asked him to sell some marijuana so she could post bond to get out of jail.
Elaine Baker is already in the Clay county jail on two drug charges and child endangerment. Authorities say Baker called her son and asked him to sell some pot stashed in the refrigerator so she could bail out of jail.
Turns out the cops were monitoring the call.
They got a search warrant and found a small amount of marijuana in Baker’s home on Monday.
Her son, Austin Tasich, is charged with possession of a controlled substance.
Baker now faces another drug charge. She remains in jail.
