Clay Co. Road Painting Incident Leads To Arrests

(Everly)– Painting a roadway has resulted in misdemeanor charges being filed against four 18-year-old women.

The Clay County Sheriff’s Office says the four were allegedly painting a portion of County Road M-27 back on May 11th of this year. Authorities say a vehicle was damaged when it ran over the freshly painted grafiti.

McKenzie Menke, Chelsea Boernsen and Emily Geerdes all from Everly…and Brittney Montgomery of Royal were all charged with criminal mischief in the fifth degree. They were cited into court.
