Historic Arnolds Park, Incorporated (HAPI), will hold its annual meeting Sunday, August 20th at 4:30 p.m. at the Hedberg Theatre in the Iowa Great Lakes Maritime Museum in Arnolds Park.
Agenda items include an election of officers. The terms of Fred Dowden and Dennis Ward are expiring. Two people have been nominated–they are Walt Mendenhall of Okoboji and Dick Ramsey of Orleans.
A by-law revision is also on the agenda. Members will vote on certifying the new name of Historic Arnolds Park, Incorporated; updated language to bring greater assurance to the continuance of an exempt organization status with the Internal Revenue Service; and to bring the articles of incorporation into conformance with protections currently offered by Iowa law for director’s liability and indemnification.
A review of the organization’s financial statement is also on the agenda.
