(LeMars)– Authorities say the same person may be responsible for bank robberies in LeMars and Jackson, Minnesota.
United Prairie Bank in Jackson was robbed July 18th by a man who gave a note to bank personnel. He got away with an undetermined amount of money.
Authorities now say a man who held up Primebank in LeMars August 4th fits the same description as the suspect in the Jackson robbery. Only difference is that he produced a silver semi-automatic pistol in the LeMars hold-up.
The suspect is described as a white male between 30 and 40-years-old between 5-foot-10 inches and 6-foot-two inches tall weighing between 190 and 240 pounds with brown hair and a neatly-trimmed brown goatee.
He was wearing a gray, long-sleeved shirt, dark jeans and tennis shoes and a camouflage baseball cap and sunglasses at the time of the LeMars robbery.
Anyone with information should contact the LeMars or Jackson, Minnesota Police Departments or the FBI office in Sioux City or Omaha.
