(Orange City)– An Orange City man is running as an independent in the fifth district congressional race this November.
Roy Nielsen announced his candidacy Tuesday, saying he’ll run as a voice for families and the middle class.
Nielsen will be running against Republican incumbent Steve King and Democrat Joyce Schulte.
Nielsen owns a business in Sioux Center.
