(Spencer)– The city of Spencer is looking for a new Police Chief.
Michael Lashbrook announced Wednesday he’s accepted the position as Police Chief in Mason City.
Lashbrook’s final day on the job in Spencer will be January 26th. He starts his new job in Mason City the next day.
Lashbrook has been Police Chief in Spencer since 1998.
Spencer City Manager Dean Torresen says details of a process to look for a new chief haven’t been established yet.
