(Milford)– Drug charges have been filed against a Milford man in connection with a traffic stop Wednesday night.
Milford police say officers pulled over a vehicle shortly after 9:30 p.m. for a traffic violation.
Authorities say an investigation resulted in officers discovering a crystal-like substance alleged to be methamphetamine, a green-leafy substance alleged to be marijuana, a glass inhalation device, cash and other items allegedly associated with drug activity.
23-year-old Blake Schierholt of Milford was arrested and booked into the Dickinson county jail on charges of possession of a controlled substance with intent to deliver methamphetamine; possession of a controlled substance marijuana; possession of drug paraphernalia and a traffic violation.
Milford police were assisted by the Arnolds Park Police Department’s K-9 Unit and the Iowa Great Lakes Drug Task Force.
