(Milford)– The Milford city council earlier this week voted to contribute six thousand dollars out of the current fiscal year’s budget to Discovery House in Spirit Lake.
The council also approved the appointment of Steve Feld to the board of trustees of Milford Municipal Utilities; set January 8th as the date for a public hearing on a development agreement with Eastview, Incorporated for the Nature Trails subdivision; and they approved an updated mutual aid agreement with the Spirit Lake Fire Department.
The council also discussed a timeframe for working on the budget for the upcoming fiscal year. City Administrator Brian Reed says committees will start meeting later in January.
