(Arnolds Park)– Property tax rates for the upcoming fiscal year are going to stay the same as they currently are in two lakes area cities.
Arnolds Park City Administrator Ron Walker and Wahpeton City Clerk Betty Petersen say that will be the case in their respective towns.
In Arnolds Park, Walker says valuations have increased in the past year. He says the budget also reflects some major upcoming projects. As a result, he say the levy rate will remain at $6.60 per one thousand dollars valuation…the same as it has been the last couple of years.
In Wahpeton the levy will remain at $2.50 per one thousand dollars of valuation…one of the lowest rates in the state.
