(Spirit Lake)– The Clinical Services Manager at Lakes Regional Healthcare in Spirit Lake has received a special commendation from the American Heart Association.
Jeff Messerole was presented earlier this month with the association’s Advanced Cardiac Life Support Regional Faculty of the Year Award.
Among other accomplishments, Messerole was cited for his ability to clearly articulate complex issues; for his work with local training centers, instructors and volunteers; and for implementing a county-wide public access defibrillation program that includes schools, law enforcement and several large employers in Dickinson county.
