Slick Roads Result In Several Mishaps In SW Mn.

(Worthington, Mn.)– Slick roads are being attributed to several personal injury accidents that took place Wednesday in southwest Minnesota.

A single-vehicle rollover on Highway 60 two miles south of Windom in Jackson county resulted in minor injuries.

The Minnesota State Patrol says 31-year-old Edgar Sandoval Ortega of Worthington lost control of a 1994 Honda Accord that left the road and rolled. He, along with two passengers…23-year-old Emily Nielsen and 32-year-old Javier Silva…were taken to the Worthington hospital where they were treated and released.

Severe damage was reported to the vehicle.

Minor injuries were reported in a single-vehicle rollover on Interstate 90 in Nobles county shortly after 4:30 p.m. Authorities say 23-year-old Feysal Aden of Sioux City lost control of a 1993 Toyota Camry, Aden and a passenger, 37-year-old Zainab Shire of Storm Lake, were taken to the Worthington hospital where they were treated and released.

Moderate damage was reported to the vehicle.

And a single-vehicle rollover on Highway 60 northeast of Brewster resulted in minor injuries to a Worthington woman.

Authorities say 34-year-old Sonia Arreguin-De-Garcia lost control of a 1995 Toyota 4-runner four wheel drive. She was treated at the Worthington hospital for a minor injury and was released.

Moderate damage was reported to the vehicle.

The mishap took place shortly after 4:00 p.m.
