(Emmetsburg)– Emmetsburg High School will host it’s 15th annual Invitational Show Choir Contest this Saturday (March 10th).
23 choirs from Iowa, Minnesota, Nebraska and Wisconsin will compete throughout the day for a chance to earn a divisional championship. The top six scores will qualify for a spot in the evening championship finals.
The opening round begins at 8:00 a.m. Saturday and concludes with a performance by Emmetsburg “Black and Gold” at 5:45 p.m.
The evening finals begin at 7:00 p.m.
The competition is open to the public. A one-time fee is good for all day as well as the evening finals.
Show choirs from our area that will be competing include Okoboji, Spencer, Spirit Lake, Sheldon and Emmetsburg.
