(Spirit Lake)– A traffic stop early Saturday in Spirit Lake resulted in OWI and drug charges against a Milford man.
Spirit Lake police say an officer pulled over a vehicle around 12:17 a.m. at the corner of Sunner Avenue and 25th Street for a traffic violation. The driver, 19-year-old Colin Dickson of Milford, was arrested for operating while intoxicated…first offense.
A subsequent investigation resulted in officers finding a substance alleged to be marijuana along with some drug paraphernalia.
Dickson was also charged with possession of a controlled substance…marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia.
