Burger King Disturbance Lands SL Man In Jail On Several Charges

(Spirit Lake)– A disturbance at a Spirit Lake fast food restaurant over the weekend landed a Spirit Lake man in jail on several charges.

Spirit Lake Police say officers were called to Burger King around 12:30 a.m. Saturday on a report of a man who was acting disorderly and was refusing to leave after being asked to do so by employees.

Upon arriving officers arrested the suspect…identified as 21-year-old Heath Louis Goetsch of Spirit Lake. He was charged with operating while intoxicated…first offense; disorderly conduct; trespassing; public intoxication and possesion of drug paraphernalia.

Goetsch was booked into the Dickinson county jail pending a court appearance.

Spirit Lake police were assisted by the Dickinson County Sheriff’s Office and the Arnolds Park Police Department.
