Completion Of Sami Center Pushed Back

November 22, 2014

(Spirit Lake)– Recent mild weather has allowed crews to make good progress on the Sami Center at Spirit Lake High School. Even then, officials say the completion deadline for the project is being pushed back.

Steve Miller is with a Minneapolis architectural firm that’s overseeing the project for the district. He told the Spirit Lake school board Monday the completion date has been pushed back to October 15th of this year. It was originally slated for September of this year.

The school board Monday approved another changeorder for the project. This one totalled 2,622-dollars.
