(Arnolds Park)– The Arnolds Park city council Wednesday adopted the budget for the upcoming fiscal year following a public hearing. It has a tax asking of $6.60 per one thousand dollars of valuation…the same as the current budget.
The council was also informed that the Friends Church has filed a petition to voluntarily annex 80 acres of land east of Pelican Ridge into the city. The city plans to purchase five acres of that land to build a new maintenance facility. City Administrator Ron Walker says the annexation process will be getting underway soon.
