(Estherville)– The board of trustees of Iowa Lakes Community College Tuesday awarded the low bid of 268,800-dollars from Christensen Construction of Estherville for the construction of the Regional Emergency Response Training Center to be built on the Emmetsburg campus.
A 26,900-dollar upgrade to the facility was also approved, along with a 45,950-dollar bid from ABC Construction of Estherville to extend a water main to the site.
ILCC trustees also set April 17th as the date for a public hearing on the first and second phases of the Sustainable Energy Education Center proposed to be built on the Estherville campus.
