Clay County Rollover Injures Danbury Man

(Spencer)– The Iowa State Patrol has released details into a single-vehicle rollover that took place Sunday at the intersection of Clay County Roads B-17 and 290th Avenue.

Authorities say 25-year-old Eric Triplet of Danbury was eastbound on County Road B-17 when he missed the curve onto 290th Avenue. Triplet then lost control of the vehicle which went into the ditch and rolled several times, coming to rest on the driver’s side.

Triplet was taken by ambulance to Spencer Hospital. Information on the extent of his injuries wasn’t immediately available.

The mishap took place around 9:00 p.m. Sunday.

The Iowa State Patrol was assisted on the scene by the Clay County Sheriff’s Office and the Spencer Police Department.
