(Spencer)– The Clay County Sheriff’s Office is requesting the public’s assistance as it investigates several residential burglaries that took place earlier this week.
The first happened Monday. Authorities say someone kicked in a door to a residence at 2720 340th Street between 9:30 that morning and about 3:30 that afternoon. Numerous items were taken, including jewelry, a lap top computer and some t.v.’s.
The second took place between 10:00 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. Tuesday at 4060 225th Avenue. T.v’s, a c-d player and other items were reported stolen from that residence.
The third took place at 1435 330th Street near Everly between 12:30 p.m. and about 5:00 p.m. Wednesday. A lap top computer, jewelry, a camcorder, a gun and a large quantity of change was stolen.
Anyone who may have seen anything suspicious at any of those locations should contact the Clay County Sheriff’s Office.
