(Sheldon)– O’Brien county authorities are asking for the public’s assistance as they continue to investigate a rash of vehicle break-ins in Sheldon.
Police say the burglaries took place on the night of March 27th and early in the morning of March 28th and again in the night of April 13th in the early morning of April 14th.
Authorities say several of the burglaries in March have been solved, but the investigation continues into the latest incidents.
Police say the vehicles were either parked in various parking lots around Sheldon or in private driveways. In most cases the vehicles were unlocked.
Authorities say most of the thefts involved car stereos.
