(Spencer)– A burglary at a Spencer service station resulted in charges against two people.
Spencer police say officers responded to a call of a burglary in progress at Meyer Oil at 121 East Seventh Street around 1:20 a.m. Upon arriving authorities say they apprehended 20-year-old Bobby Choat of Dickens who was charged with burglary in the third degree.
A 17-year-old male juvenile was apprehended a short distance from the scene. He was charged with burglary in the third degree and interference with official acts.
Choat was booked into the Clay county jail; the juvenile was transported to the juvenile detention facility at Cherokee.
