(Spencer)– The Iowa Great Lakes Chapter of the American Red Cross is moving to a new home.
Executive Director Bill Campbell says they’ll be relocating to Gateway North in Spencer. The move is scheduled for this Sunday (May 6th), and volunteers are needed to help out. Anyone interested in helping should show up at the current office at 407 1/2 Grand Avenue above the Hen House in downtown Spencer at 12:30 p.m. Sunday.
The new office at Gateway North will open Monday (May 7th) and will be open Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m., with round-the-clock emergency services when needed.
Campbell says an open house is planned for early June in conjunction with the chapter’s 90th anniversary.
