(Spencer)– A weekend traffic stop in Clay county resulted in the arrest of a Sutherland man on drug charges.
The Clay County Sheriff’s Office says a deputy pulled over a vehicle for littering shortly after 1:00 a.m. Saturday in the 4000 block of Highway 71.
While performing a consent search of the vehicle, a deputy found an occupant in the vehicle, 19-year-old Zachary Schnack of Sutherland, in possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia.
Schnack was arrested and booked into the Clay county jail.
A passenger in the vehicle was cited and released for littering.
