(Sheldon)– Police in Sheldon are asking for the public’s assistance as they investigate a rash of vandalism that took place earlier this month along a walking trail between the west side of town and Northwest Iowa Community College.
Authorities say graffiti was painted in the area, trees were broken off and a plexi glass cover on an informational kiosk was shattered sometime between May 10th and last Sunday, May 13th.
Anyone with information should contact the O’Brien County Sheriff’s Office. A reward for information that leads to an arrest and conviction is being offered through the county’s Crime Duster program.
