(Spirit Lake)– No injuries were reported Saturday when a car rolled into Lazy Lagoon in the Triboji Beach area on the north side of West Lake Okoboji.
The Dickinson County Sheriff’s Office says it happened around 8:17 a.m. Saturday when the driver of the vehicle pulled into the residence to deliver a paper. Deputies say the vehicle’s linkage failed and gave way, causing the 2004 Ford Crown Victoria to roll backward into the lagoon.
Authorities say no one was in the vehicle and no injuries were reported.
The vehicle…owned by Leonora Streeter of Sioux Falls…sustained an estimated five thousand dollars in damage.
