(Ruthven)– An escapee from the Oakdale prison has been re-captured in Ruthven.
Palo Alto County Sheriff Dennis Goeders says his office received information Monday that an escapee from the Oakdale prison was living at a residence in Ruthven.
Goeders says he and Lieutenant Todd Suhr and deputy John King responded to the residence today (Tues.) and took 29-year-old Timothy Alan Bishop of Ruthven into custody.
Bishop was wanted on valid warrants from Webster county for absence from custody and a warrant from the Oakdale prison for flight to avoid custody.
Bishop was unable to post the 1,950-dollars cash or surety bond from Webster county; the Oakdale warrant was a no-bond warrant.
Bishop is being held in the Palo Alto county jail pending extradition.
