(Spirit Lake)– Some big changes are on the way for Mediacom’s Spirit Lake operations.
Bill Jensen, Regional Vice President for Mediacom, tells KUOO news they’ll be closing their customer service office on Highway 71 south and consolidating it with their Lakes T.V. and On Media operations. Jensen says one of the two customer service representatives from the existing office on Highway 71 South will be transferred to the mall. The other…along with a customer service supervisor and technical and service personnel will transfer to their Spencer location.
Jensen says the move is being made not only due to economics, but to increase efficiency.
He says none of the 14 Mediacom employees currently working in the Spirit Lake office will lose their job.
Jensen says the transition will be complete by late July.
