(Sibley)– A drug investigation in Osceola county has resulted in several arrests.
The Sheriff’s Office says it all started Monday when deputies pulled over a vehicle driven by 50-year-old Valerie Goettig of Sibley. During the stop, deputies discovered prescription pills and a marijuana pipe. Goettig was arrested and charged with possession of drug paraphernalia; possession of a controlled substance and unlawful possession of prescription drugs. She was released from jail after posting bond of 425-dollars.
Based on what they found in the traffic stop, authorities obtained a search warrant that was executed Tuesday on Goettig’s residence at 1036 10th Street in Sibley. It resulted in authorities finding marijuana, methamphetamine, prescription pills and drug paraphernalia.
Three people in the residence were arrested.
34-year-old Ellis Hargis of Sibley was charged with possession of a controlled substance; possession of drug paraphernalia and prohibited acts. Hargis was booked into the Osceola county jail on bond of 8,775-dollars.
31-year-old Amy Young of Sibley was charged with possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia. She was booked into the Osceola county jail on bond of 2,275-dollars.
Goettig was arrested again and charged with possession of a controlled substance, prohibited acts and unlawful possession of prescription drugs. She was booked into the Osceola county jail on 10,400-dollars bond.
