(Lakefield, Mn.)– A single-vehicle crash just north of the Iowa-Minnesota border on Highway 86 Sunday injured two people from South Dakota.
The Minnesota State Patrol says 23-year-old Eric Wahle of Sioux Falls lost control of a 2007 Honda Fit passenger car. The vehicle went into the east ditch and rolled, coming to rest on its roof.
Wahle and a passenger, 20-year-old Elizabeth Wahle of Sioux Falls, were taken by ambulance to Lakes Regional Healthcare in Spirit Lake where they were treated for bumps and bruises.
Moderate damage was reported to the vehicle.
The crash took place around 2:43 p.m. Sunday.
