(Spirit Lake)– The annual Dickinson County Relay For Life, a major fundraising event for the American Cancer Society, will be held this Saturday (July 14th) at the Spirit Lake High School track.
Organizer Di Hirt says the event begins at 3:00 p.m. with registration of cancer survivors. A catered supper will be provided free to cancer survivors and for a small charge for anyone else. That will be followed by a program at 6:00 p.m. at which time the first lap will be made. A luminary lighting ceremony will be held at 9:30 p.m. Luminaries are still available for purchase at Jennings Tow and Repair in Spirit Lake and Saturday at the event.
Hirt says a cancer resource tent will also be available during Saturday’s event.
All proceeds go to the various programs and services provided by the American Cancer Society.
