(Spirit Lake)– The Dickinson county board of supervisors got some good news Tuesday when they learned an asbestos removal project at the county-owned Oak Haven Care Facility is going to cost less than first thought.
The supervisors awarded to low bid of 9,612-dollars for the project from Pro Environmental of Des Moines.
The cost of the project had been estimated at 10-thousand dollars.
Work on the project, expected to take about a week, is scheduled to start by August 1st.
