(Everly)– A search of an Everly residence has landed two people in jail on drug charges.
The Clay County Sheriff’s Office says deputies executed a search warrant around 10:00 p.m. Thursday at 409 East Second Street in Everly. The search resulted in deputies finding a substance alleged to be marijuana along with drug paraphernalia.
38-year-old Douglas Jensen and 40-year-old Kari Zuehlke, both of Everly, were arrested and charged with possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia…both simple misdemeanors.
The two were booked into jail on bond of 2,275-dollars each.
Authorities say the investigation continues and more charges are expected.
