Dickinson Co. Household Hazardous Waste Site Up & Running

November 22, 2014

(Milford)– Dickinson county’s new household hazardous materials drop-off site is now up and running.

John Walters is with the Dickinson County Conservation Board, which operates the site at the county’s green waste disposal site a half mile east of the Catholic Church in Milford. He tells KUOO news they’re equipped to take items such as paints, pesticides, drain cleaners, automotive products, etc.

Walters says you need to make arrangements ahead of time if you plan to drop something off. You can do that by filling out forms available at city halls and public libraries throughout the county or on line at dickinsoncountyrecycling.com. Walters says upon receiving the form they’ll set up an appointment for you to bring in your materials.
